Mark your calendars for the 2012 Annual
Fundraiser Spring Plant Sale. The Greenwood Farmer's Market, Clemson Extension and
Greenwood County will be sponsoring their SPRING PLANT SALE FESTIVAL
Friday & Saturday, April 6th & 7th from 8:00AM - 4:00PM. The Lakelands Master Gardeners
will be available to answer questions and give expert advice throughout the Festival. Plus
they’ll have plants from their own gardens for sale.

Our Annual Plant Sale, held April 22nd & 23rd was a huge success, even Mother Nature could
not stop folks from coming out! This is the only fund raiser scheduled this year, netting
a majority of income budget for the Association. A very special THANK YOU to the many members
that contributed plants- John Wham, Sarah Carroll, Jimmy McInville, Sandy Orr, Julee Marshall,
Jean Anderson, Catherine Swindell, Rusty Wilson, Chuck Bender, Jean Anderson, Melody McInville,
Stuart Menaker, Dwight Long, Uma Sridharan and anyone else I missed (my apologies).
We could never have been so successful if it was not for the many members that volunteered
their time each day—Sue Monaghan, Julee Marshall, Bryan Wesson, Jane Blackwell, Jimmy
McInville, April Prater, Melody McInville, Maureen Colby, Sandy Orr, Rusty Wilson, John Wham
and his lovely wife—Ella, Miriam Smith, Anita Herzsprung, Sandra Johnson, Betty Reese,
Charlotte Perosino, Cath-erine Swindell, Stuart Menaker, Mike Brown, Pamela Kelly, and Rick
